Remodeling: An Investment Worth Making

If you want a return on your home investment, the 2014 Cost vs. Value Report contains information that would be wise to consider. Following a cost comparison of various projects and realtor survey, it was determined that the most cost-effective projects were primarily exterior, relatively inexpensive, and delivered significant returns.  A new steel entry door, for example, was a top project, recouping more than 95 percent of the original investment. Across the board, doors and windows assist resale. The report assures that garage door and window replacements are financially sound projects. The report also mentions interior projects, like an added bedroom or low-cost kitchen remodel, are valuable as well.
