When you trip a breaker, it’s necessary to check your breaker box. Here is a basic guide to what’s going on in your electric panel. First and foremost, do not put any part of your body in the panel. There is a door that you can open safely, do not remove the cover or any screws. When looking in the panel, you will see if any switches are “tripped.” Most will show a red dot if they are tripped. All you have to do is push the switch all the way off, and then all the way on, and it should reset the breaker.
