You now have to figure out how your green building scheme compares to their standards — and that can be tricky. Getting approval can be a long and complicated process. There is some help available from the Global Ecolabel Network’s Internationally Coordinated Ecolabelling System (Genices). It is a system that has all the countries standards in one place and can act as a third party assessor. In many countries, having the Genices approval will be enough for you to meet their green standards.
