A big question for homeowners when considering a remodel, generally of their kitchen or bathroom, is on which features should they spend money and what areas can they be thriftier. An important part of a home renovation is determining how you view the house. Is the house a place to spend the rest of your life, or at least a significant portion of the rest of your life, or is it an investment to be sold soon for a profit? Or maybe a mixture of both? From an investment perspective, the most important part of a remodel is to meet current trends that improve the value of the house and are appealing to current buyers.
