Calling for a need to integrate the efforts of all, senior government officials from India emphasized the importance of developing economically viable equipment at cheaper costs, in order to protect the environment and sustain it in the long run. Government leaders pointed out that in order to save future generations from adverse effects of pollution from traditional sources of energy, bringing efficient technologies and products into the mainstream is imperative. Green and clean technologies and equipment need to be adopted everywhere, especially in manufacturing, in order to reduce carbon footprints in the environment, and the government is committed to supporting the industry with incentives.
