Italian manufacturer aLEGNA has introduced a line of luxury wooden bathtubs. The products are designed to evoke nature, and were inspired by the manufacturer’s experience with yacht building. The tubs are made from carefully selected wood veneers, and saturated with an extra-resistant resin, to ensure that the bathtub is 100 percent leak-proof and no water can permeate the wood. Three models are available, along with a coordinating sink and bath furniture collection. All bathtub models, and some of the sinks and washstands, can be constructed from a choice of six woods. They carry a 10-year guarantee on impermeability, strength, and coating, with an expected 40 to 60 years of service life.
