· Prepare. Remodels are not comfortable or convenient. Figure out how you’ll eat, shower, and wash dishes or clothes.
· Find an escape zone. Maintain a little spot to get away and breathe.
· Defend against dust. Seal off doorways, turn off central air, and use temporary floor coverings.
· Try to maintain a sense of humor and a good attitude. “This too shall pass.”
