Growing old means an alteration in lifestyle for many aging Americans, though one thing that is typical is a desire to stay in comfortable surroundings rather than move into a nursing home. The National Association of Home Builders offers a Certified Aging-in-Place (CAPS) designation which must be maintained and certifies a builder to use their skills specifically in regards to the aging population.
