ComfortBoard mineral wool boardstock is manufactured in Canada, and has both residential and commercial applications. Roxul, the company that manufactures the board, is certified to produce it at a minimum of 75% recyclability and can provide up to four thicknesses. Though the insulating value of ComfortBoard is lower than other products, it does not degrade or leak, preserving its R-4 value.
